I Asked An AI to Show Me The Face of Diseases. Here's What It Came Up With.

Using AI art to generate faces representing dementia, cancer and Parkinson's was an eye-opening experience. Not only did it give me a visual representation of some of the most common diseases affecting people today, but I also saw how AI technology can be used to create unique images that capture the mood and feeling associated with various illnesses.

For dementia, AI art created a face with a distant look in its eyes which conveyed a sense of sadness and confusion. The colors used were muted and subtle which further highlighted this emotion. Similarly, for cancer, the generated face expressed distress and fragility through dark colors and an expression of intense pain. Lastly, for Parkinson's, the facial features had a trembling aspect to them which provided insight into what it must feel like to live with the disease.

Overall, it was a powerful and moving experience seeing how AI art could capture the complexity of different diseases. It reminded me that behind each illness is a unique story and struggle. Seeing these representations made me more aware of this fact, and I'm glad that technology can be used to bring attention to such important issues.
